Mrs. Ommie May Pippin, age 88, of Cumming, Georgia, died Saturday, May 28, 2011 at the Grandview Healthcare Center in Jasper, Georgia, following a period of declining health.Born January 2, 1923 in Seminole, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late John Leveda Williams and Annie Elizabeth Culver Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Cecil Pippin. Mrs. Pippin was a homemaker and was a member of the Cumming Baptist Church.

Survivors include: Daughter & Son-in-law, Ann and Rick Forrester of Big Canoe, Ga. and Naples, Florida; Granddaughters: Sherri F. Courtney of Charlton, Mass. and Angela F. Jones of Big Canoe; Great-grandchildren: Mary Ann Courtney, Michelle Courtney, Abbie Jones, Maggie Jones and Matthew Jones; Sister, Bessie Jo Young of Houston, Texas and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. Dr. Rick Forrester will officiate.
