BRAG (Bicycle Ride Across Georgia) will be visiting Pickens County June 4-5
We are looking for businesses to promote themselves in our BRAG bags. We are making 1000 bags, but are asking for any number of items. If you are interested in donating items, please contact denise@pickenschamber.com.

Pickens County Attendance Court Needs Your Help!
The Pickens County Attendance Court needs your help to begin a summer reading program. The reading program is designed to increase the reading skills of middle school and high school students. We will be using an online reading program and need laptops for the students to use while being supervised by volunteers. If you have a laptop that you are not using, please consider donating it and help us increase the reading skills of the children in our community. If you would like to donate a laptop please drop off at the Chamber of Commerce or E-Mail Denise@pickenschamber.com

Jasper Farmer’s Market Begins this Weekend

The Saturday Market EVERY SATURDAY from 7:30am-12:30pm in the ride share parking lot at Lee Newton Park. For more information about the farmers market contact the Master Gardeners at 706-253-8840.

Twilight at the Terraces Concert Series 2012 Season
Next Concert June 2, 2012
Singers Unlimited & “100 Years of Broadway” featuring music from Oklahoma!, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Secret Garden and over 30 other musicals. Held at the outdoor ampitheatre on Steve Tate Hwy, the concert series offers 6 concerts for the spring and summer. Other concerts in the series are:
June 30- Independence Day Concert
July 28- Banks and Shane
August 25-Kurt Thomas, a Dahlonega native, winner of Kenny Chesney’s “Next Big Star” contest
