Jasper Middle’s Cross Country teams compete in championship

Jasper Middle School’s Boys and Girls cross country teams competed in the North Georgia Mountain League Championship in Ellijay on October 15. The boys team took first place with a total time of 1:07:45. The girls team placed second with total time of 1:21:47.The boys team consists of: Brett Riley, Seth White, Seth Davis, Austin Coulter, DiPuma Nicholas, Cameron Fowler, Chandler Smith, Eric Pagel, Craig Johnson, Tate Keener, Ryan Clements, Anthony Jordan, Athan Bennett, John-Paul Faix, Andrew Gibson, Blue Goodman, Andrew Key, Joshua King, Cole Moore and Tanner Reeves.

The girls team is comprised of: Sabrina Young, Hailey Fountain, Deana Boling, Somer Prather, Alyssa Couture, Diane Havran, Ericka McNemar, Madelyn Townsend, Sierrah Rice, Lexie Wright, Kerri Rowe, Madison Mays, Megan Holbert, Allie Presley, Emma DiPuma, Kelsi Roland, Abigail Gleason, Alexis McClure, Mackenzie Mays, Sarah Bramlett, Hannah Vincent, Mackenzie Coffey, Emily O’Shields, Grace Roland, Emily Gibson and Ashley Craig.

The teams were honored with certificates and cupcakes at last night’s school board meeting.
