PHS TSA Chapter goes to state conference

Congratulations to the PHS TSA Chapter on successful participation at the Georgia TSA (Technology Student Association) State Leadership Conference!Maverick Pierce, Courtney Robertson and Anne Brown-Goolsby were recognized for outstanding accomplishments on the local, state, and national levels and were awarded the bronze and silver achievement awards and are now eligible for their gold (national) level.

The chapter was also state finalist in three events including Technological Essays (Caitlin Dillon); Chapter Team (Maverick Pierce, Courtney Robertson, Anne Brown-Goolsby, Kaleb Grieship, Sara Westover, and Daniel Eidson) and Dragster Design (Maverick Pierce). In addition, the team produced an outstanding On-Demand Video, edited by Auston Davenport. Mrs. Quarles, received the 100% Advisor Award.

Representing PHS at the conference were Maverick Pierce, Courtney Robertson, Anne Brown-Goolsby, Kaleb Grieship, Sara Westover, Daniel Eidson, Caitlin Dillon, Auston Davenport, Mary Zuidema, Blake Wilson, Michael Jorgenson, Kelsey Essig, and Jesse Vaughn.

Open to students enrolled in or who have completed technology education courses, TSA’s membership includes over 180,000 middle and high school students in 2,000 schools spanning 48 states. TSA is supported by educators, parents and business leaders who believe in the need for a technologically literate society.
