Described to be a silver colored older Cadillac pulled into the northbound side of the Zell Miller Mountain scenic overlook at approximately one o’clock today. A DOT worker took notice that the car was parked for about an hour and called it in to 911. The call came in at 2:13 this afternoon. Pickens County Sheriff’s office responded to the call. Upon arriving at the scene they found Alfred Edwards age 56 of Kennesaw dead. Deputy coroner Andy Thompson was called out at 2:30.
Edwards body has been taken to the GBI crime lab for autopsy to determine cause and manner of death. FYN was told there was nothing suspicious or no evidence of foul play in Edward’s death. At this time it appears to be natural causes.
