Mr. Loye Gene (Brother) Poole, age 66 of Ellijay and formerly of Pickens County, passed away at his residence on Wednesday August 26, 2015.

He is survived by his daughters & sons-in-law: Teresa & Jeffery Cook of Ellijay, Lisa & Shane Chadwick of Indiana, Amanda & Dean Derreberry of N. Carolina, brothers & sisters-in-law: Gary & Carolyn Poole of Jasper, Ronnie & Erica Poole of Ellijay, sister: Betty Parker of Ellijay, 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Cagle Funeral Home on Thursday August 27th from 4:30pm till 10pm and again on Friday from 8am until prior to the funeral hour. Funeral services are scheduled for 4pm on Friday at Yellow Creek Baptist Church with Revs. William Blackwell & Gene Hyde officiating.  The interment will follow in the church cemetery.
