The Ruling Class, Is it Sustainable?

Opinion

Opinion by George McClellan:

American politics are no longer about ideas. We passed that “rubicon” years ago and most of us are only now realizing it. It’s all about power and control and who has the unbridled ability to loot the American treasury (tax payers), enrich their friends and so control the lives of the minions beneath them that any resistance raised against them can be summarily crushed.

“Rubicon” means the point of no return. It comes to us from the direct consequences of an illegal act committed in ancient Roman in 49 bc. The Rubicon, a river, was the boundary between Rome and the Cisalpine Gauls. It was forbidden by Roman law for a General to take his army out of his province without Senate approval. A General, Julius Caesar in fact, did just that. He crossed the Rubicon to attack Gaul. The resulting three year destructive civil war against the Senate and Pompey brought Rome a “generalissimo” (Caesar) who’s dictatorship brought war, misery, conquest and destruction throughout the Roman world.

Obama is like Caesar in that, while he has an army, he doesn’t want to use it, but still ignores the law (the Constitution) and worse, has made the Republican Senate, and the House for that matter, virtually impotent. Why should that be? We sit around out here complaining about the lost Republican principles that we now realize will probably never, ever, under the current system, be realized again. Principles are for herd animals. That’s how they view us. Principles do not ensure power and control. The Republican Party long ago threw off its base to share in the looting process and their individual prosperity. Under current conditions, can they sustain it?

Ask, why do the politicians in DC refuse to sign up for Obamacare? Why are they not enrolled in the Federal Employee Retirement System? Why do they grant themselves pay raises when they have done nothing to earn those raises? How do they enter office poor but come out rich, many  millionaires? Why are they not vetted first for pure stupidity? Why, why, why? Well, because they can; because we let them; because they believe they are entitled and once in republicans, once corrupted, believe they have the right to stay in. That’s why?

American politics has been so corrupted and debased by the cash flow available from private central banks, like the Federal Reserve, and big business, that we have now become virtually internationalized. That’s why the Pan Pacific Trade deal is so important, to neutralize America’s ability to out produce the world. That’s why the government does nothing to stop the third world invasion of our country; that’s why they create then ignore crisis after crisis. That’s why they aggressively encourage a “one world government”, to keep control and rob us all.

Hillary was wrong when she said she and Bill left the White House “virtually broke.” They entered the White House virtually broke (by our standards), did their looting, then once out of office, as SoS, she set about shacking down other countries of the world.

The GOP has long been enamored with that process and, for the ruling class, only a “moderate” candidate for president can be trusted to run the government in the manner they want it run, to continue the process of fleecing the tax payers. To do otherwise is really bad for government.

Trump has thrown a wrench in the machinery. His presidency, were he to win, would be so dangerous to the politicians who have looted, cheated, lied and falsified the operations of the American government, that like a cornered boar hog they will attack and try to kill the successful challengers, like Trump. His success can not be permitted to continue. Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now, go get ‘em! (11 Sept 2015)
