The 35th Annual Georgia Marble Festival is returning to Pickens County again for the weekend of October 3-4.

The festival brings the 5k Road Race, 8am, and One Mile Fun Run, 9am, on Saturday, 3rd, among numerous vendors and other festivities including live music. To register, visit jasperumc.org. Then, catch the festival parade down Main Street at 10 a.m.

Participate in the guided tours of the marble industry and structures.
Also, enjoy arts, crafts, demonstrations and children’s activities throughout the festival grounds. There will be a marble sculptor, Bill Cook,Jr., carving marble displaying the
theme of the festival, “Our Marble-Our Heritage.” Enjoy lots of great food while appreciating a vast array of weekend-long entertainment.

Add a little soundtrack to your weekend by witnessing the best in Georgia music at our Headliner stage. The Georgia Marble Festival has something for everyone.
Thousands of people experience the rich heritage of the area each year, learning about the marble industry as well as visiting the many treasures of Pickens County.
The festival is located at Lee Newton Park, 500 Stegall Drive in Jasper. Free parking and convenient shuttles are available at Ingles and Chattahoochee Technical College.
Festival hours are 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Admission runs $5 per person and $3 for children 6-12 and children 5 and under free. Grab a discount at $3 for Veterans and Seniors or $20 for a Family Weekend Pass.
