Ms. Patricia Fowler Carlan, 61 of Jasper, Georgia died on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Georgia.

Ms. Carlan was born Wednesday, May 9, 1951 in Tate, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her father, James Hugh Fowler.
She was employed by Pickens County Board of Education.
She was a member of Jasper United Methodist Church.
Surviving are sons, Aaron Carlan and Joseph Carlan, former spouse, Don Carlan, mother, Gladys Darby Fowler, brothers, Larry Fowler, Randal Fowler, Hugh Fowler and David Fowler, sister, Gretta Fowler and 3 grandchildren, James, Ethan, and DL Carlan also survive.
A Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Roper Funeral Home Chapel with the interment to follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, all day Wednesday and until the funeral hour on Thursday.
