Mr. Harry Charles Voelker, Jr. age 63 of Jasper, GA. passed away Tuesday February 12, 2013 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.
After graduating from Avonworth High School, in Pittsburgh, PA. Mr. Voelker earned two Civil Engineering Degrees. He worked 26 years at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport as airport engineer, and the last 12 years at N.J. Wilbanks Contractor in Ball Ground, GA.
Mr. Voelker is survived by his Wife, Nancy Jones Voelker, Jasper, Mother, Elizabeth Voelker, Toccoa,GA. Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Beverly Voelker, Toccoa, GA. Lou Ann & Calvin Rasberry, Dallas, TX. Jean & Dave Tilly, Ohio, Brother & Sister-in-Law, Frank & Mary Beth Voelker, Pine Bluff, N.C. Godson, Alec Voelker, Pine Bluff, N.C. and Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00A.M. Friday, February 15, 2013 from the Roper Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at 2:00P.M. in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park, GA.
The family will receive friends at Roper Funeral Home on Thursday February 14, 2013 from 5P.M. to 9P.M.
