Mrs. Mary Joyce “Widdie ” Sperin, age 71 of Ball Ground, Georgia died Friday, December 27, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born December 9, 1942 in Atlanta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Terrell Bryan and Edna Bell Satterfield Bryan. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Dick Bryan. Mrs. Sperin had worked as a seamstress with LAT, was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star # 448 of Marble Hill and was a member of Mica Baptist Church.
Survivors include HER HUSBAND OF 53 YEARS, Hubert Sperin of Ball Ground, Ga.; SONS & DAUGHTERS-IN-LAW, Jeff and Sophia Sperin of Ball Ground, Ga.; Johnny and Linda Sperin of Dawsonville, Ga.; Steve and Donna Sperin of Ball Bround, Ga.; GRANDCHILDREN, Shanda Sperin, Brenton and Tiffany Sperin, Skylar and Amber Sperin and Jade Sperin. GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN, Aslyn, Corbin and Miley; STEP-GRANDCHILDREN, Kaitlyn Pain and Lucus Pain; SISTER-IN-LAW, Louise Bryan of Loganville, Ga.; SISTER-IN-LAW & BROTHER-IN-LAW, Mary Fran and Charles Kent of Ball Ground, Ga.; NIECE, Linda Dullen; Other Relatives also survive.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Kenny Sutton, Rev. Harold Bottoms and Rev. Johnny Padgett will officiate with the interment to follow in Mica Baptist Church Cemetery. Members of the Marble Hill Chapter # 448, Order of the Eastern Star are asked to serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and until the funeral hour on Monday.
