Mr. Danny Dale Gubernath, age 67 of Ball Ground, GA died Monday, January 13, 2014 at his residence.
Danny was born July 2, 1946 in Marion, OH to the late Albert & Mary Gubernath. He served his Country proudly in the United States Marine Corp from 1963 until 1972. As a founding member of Westminster Chapel in Ball Ground, GA he wanted everyone he touched to love the Bible as much as he did. He attended Liberty University Home Bible Institute, and Moody Bible Institute while working for Bellsouth in Cumming, GA where he retired after 26 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his son Joshua Cody Evans.

He is survived by his wife, Gigi Turpen Gubernath, of Ball Ground, son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Nikki Lowman Gubernath, of Ball Ground, granddaughters, Shaunna and Abbie, brother and sister-in-law, Albert “Bud” and Francine Gubernath, of Roseau, MN, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Earl and Betty Jo Turpen, of Ball Ground, brother-in-law, Jeff Turpen, of Ball Ground, several nieces, nephews and a host of loving and caring friends also survive.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan Lutz and Rev. Steve Wigington officiating. Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
