According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Rodriguez had been arrested at his home and was out on bail after items containing pornographic images of children were found at his home. The arrest was prompted by tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.According to a press release issued from the agency:

Thomas Rodriguez, 36, was arrested yesterday and charged with four counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children (Possession of Child Pornography).

The arrest was made after the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Rodriguez’s residence where evidence of child pornography was located.

At that location, GBI Digital Forensic Investigators conducted forensic previews on computers found inside the residence. Images of suspected child pornography were found on the computers. Rodriguez was arrested at the residence and transported to the Pickens County Jail.
