Iranian Policy (there isn’t any)

Opinion

Opinion by George McClellan:“Well, that didn’t go as we planned.” Six years of Obama’s foreign policy skills have totally altered our faith in America’s ability to deal with others. The trade of five Islamic terrorist generals for one deserter named Bergdahl was but the latest example of malfeasance until this Iranian business. But, who’s surprised? Obama screwed up the Arab Spring, the invasion of Libya, the Russian invasion of the Ukraine, his “Red Line” warning against Syria and the Benghazi murders. Those policies didn’t go to well for him (or us) either.

His breathless speech on his deal with Iran, promising a nuclear free Iran for ten more years, did nothing to encourage us either. That’s a disaster waiting to happen! Obama really believes that this unsigned “outline for an understanding of a foundation” will show an unbelieving world, except ABC and NBC, that as America’s President his foreign policy negotiating skills, qualify him at last to merit the Nobel prize given to him six years ago. Oh, the humanity!

The Republican Senate has already dissed, as dead in the water, the Iran deal as a dangerous and naive exercise in nuclear proliferation, as did Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, and yet, the narcissistic fool stood before us and delivered what to all intents and purposes appeared to be a sterling speech on America’s world leadership and how it’s president, Obama of course, courageously pulled the world back from the very brink of nuclear proliferation.

The usually droll Iranians must be laughing at the sheer folly and incompetence of this character and his co-fool John Kerry, beseeching them to make a deal just to satisfy some fanciful idea about a personal legacy. Obama’s legacy is already made and this deal, if nothing else, pushes Obama and Kerry to the very borders of treason. Don’t be surprised if Kerry expects to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Don’t be surprised if he gets it. They worked so hard to get so little to appease so few. Still, Iran will get its bomb and not in ten years.

I suppose that Iran’s earlier agreements with North Korea have no meaning to Iran’s intention to obtain and use a nuclear bomb, especially if we are to take the Iranian Mullah’s words to heart: “The continued existence of Israel is non-negotiable” and “Death to America.” Somehow I think I give more credence to the words of the Mullah and Israeli PM Netanyahu then to my own government. My loss of faith in anything Obama does, says or promises, is complete.

But, don’t be surprised! What’s happening here, now, has been planned and on going for a long, long time. Following the Saul Alinsky plan outlined in Rules for Radicals, the Obama regime is about complete with their version of a soft revolution starting with the destruction of America’s western culture. These Iranian talks are but a side show diversion from the real dangers we face, Obama’s version of Socialist fascism he is imposing on America. Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now, go do something about it! (03 April 2015)
