Dragons Fall in Third Annual PHS Vs GHS Alumni Football Game

Dragon's Corner, Featured Stories, Team FYN Sports

The PHS Alumni Football team took its first loss in three games, as the Dragons fell 8-0 after a second quarter touchdown and subsequent two point conversion . The Bobcats scored despite team captain, Jonathon “The Undertaker” Hill’s choke slam at five yard line on first and goal, that the referees ruled to be a face mask. Dustin Nicholson pounded the Bobcats in between the tackles, while Ian Stephens attacked the perimeter quick screen receptions, throughout the night, but Pickens could not get in the end zone. Hill, Alan Weaver, and Joe Wigington lead the defense all night, with all three spending a great deal of time in the Gilmer backfield.
