The Pickens High School 2015 graduating class completed commencement exercises to complete its matriculation through the Pickens County School System. After the processional, the invocation was given by Senior Class Vice President, Kari Henke. The National Anthem was performed by the PHS Symphonic Winds, followed by a welcome provided by principal, Dr. Chris LeMieux. Susannah Melton, class treasurer, introduced Karen Williford, a math teacher at PHS who spoke to the graduates about life’s tests. Savannah Friedman and Kyle Watters gave the Salutatory and valedictory addresses before the diplomas were awarded. Class president, Makayla Payne, gave her address, followed by a class selfie, the moving of the tassels, and the completion of the graduation.
