Pickens County held its annual 4th of July on Saturday morning in downtown Jasper. The skies were somewhat dark but it did not rain on our parade! The streets were lined early Saturday morning with children and adults eagerly awaiting the 4th of July annual parade. The parade began at 10 am celebrating our Independence day. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful decorations, floats, fun, and don’t forget the yummy candy thrown into the crowd.

FetchYourNews.com had the pleasure to meet Robert Hill, currently stationed at Fort Campbell and having served 21 years in service to our Country, Mr. Hill and his wife Kristina, children Logan, Parker, and Reagan were in town visiting his brother-in-law, CJ Jackson, his wife Brittney, and holding probably the youngest parade goer, Codey Jackson. The kids were excited to watch the parade and enjoyed all the candy. See Pictured Below:

Luckily the rain stayed away long enough for all to celebrate with the Parade in downtown. Enjoy the slideshow of the various participants that came out in celebration. Happy 4th of July!
