Roper Funeral Home of Jasper announces the death of Mr. Tom Chastain age 83 of Ludville who passed away January 1, 2011 at Metropolitan Hospice is in Marietta.He was preceded in death by his first wife Edna Chastain. Mr. Chastain was a member and deacon at Hinton Baptist Church.
The body remains at Roper Funeral Home with visitation from 6-9PM Saturday, all day Sunday and Monday until the funeral hour.
Funeral Service will be 2 PM Monday at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Rev. Buck Parker and Rev. Calvin Ball officiating. The internment will follow in the Hinton Cemetery.
His is survived by his Wife, Katherine Chastain, Ludville, Daughters and Sons-in-law, Linda & Bill Jordan, Jasper, Brenda and Mike Chumley, Jasper, Diane and Terrell Wigington, Jasper, Step-sons and Daughters-in-law; Tony and Hassie McDonald, Steven & Susan McDonald, all of Ludville, Mother-in-Law; Ella Fountain, Ludville, Grandson & Granddaughter-in-law; Casey & Amy Cannady, Jasper, Great-Grandchild, Bailey Cannady, Jasper, 3 Step Grandchildren also survive.
