Mr. Coy (Rachett) Matthews, age 72 of Talking Rock, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at his residence.Survivors include his Children: James, Ricky and Charlotte; Step-Children: Doug, Wendell, Gina and Wanda; Brothers: Eugene Robert Matthews of Canton and Phillip Don Matthews of Talking Rock; Sisters: Elizabeth Goble of Jasper, Ellen Matthews and Essie Faye Godfrey, both of Talking Rock; Several Nieces and Nephews. Mr. Matthews was preceded in death by a Daughter: Debbie.
Visitation will be held at Cagle Funeral Home on Sunday, March 6th from 2PM to 10PM and Monday, March 7th from 8AM until prior to the Funeral Hour.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2PM on Monday, March 7, 2011 at the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Reverends Ron Matthews and Steve Chadwick officiating. Interment will follow at Town Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Family will accept flowers however they would prefer that Memorials be made to Cagle Funeral Home to help with Funeral Expenses.
