Mr. Ronald Dennis Moore, age 67, of Talking Rock, Georgia, died Monday, March 7, 2011, at his residence, with his loving family by his side, after his battle with cancer.Born August 10, 1943 in Zebulon, Georgia, he was preceded in death by his father, William Frank Moore. Mr. Moore was a United States Army veteran and had retired from Delta Airlines. After his retirement, Mr. Moore worked as a flight engineer with Polar Air Cargo.
Survivors include, his Wife, Carol Rachel (Babin) Moore of Ellijay, Ga.; Daughter, Kelly Campbell of Woodstock, Ga.; Son, Grady Moore of Marietta, Ga.; his Mother, Lois Juanita Moore of Griffin, Ga.; Grandchildren, Charlie Campbell and Gus Campbell both of Woodstock, Ga.; Katy Moore, Kyla Moore, Nathan Moore and Anaiah Moore, all of Woodstock, Ga.; Sister Ginger Combs of Mountain City, Tn.; Brothers, Randy Moore and Reggie Moore both of Griffin, Ga.; Nieces, Nephews, Cousin and other relatives also survive.
At his request, Mr. Moore was cremated and a Memorial Service is scheduled for 12:30 pm, Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Sharon Watkins will officiate. The entombment of the cremains will follow at 2:00 pm, Friday, at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia with military honors.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, 10:30 a.m. until the funeral hour.
