Tigers Tame Dragons

The Pickens High School Dragons baseball team hosted the Tigers of Ringgold High School, and was on the losing end of a 9-2 debacle. The Dragons two runs were scored by Tanner Brumby and Brian Morris. Morris’ run came via home run.The Dragons drew first blood with a run scored in the bottom of the first inning. The lead was secure until the Tigers scored two runs in the top of the third. Three more Tiger runs came in the top of the fourth.

The Dragons next score was in the bottom of the fifth, making the score 5-2. The Tigers added four more runs in Ringgold’s last at bat, in the top of the seventh. The Dragons were unable to take advantage of the last at bat of the game and extended the losing streak to four.
