Mr. W. Max Thurman of Canton passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Northside Hospital-Cherokee.
Survivors include his Wife: Joyce (Jo) Collis Thurman; Children: Vicki Nicholson and Randy Thurman; Grandchildren: Marc Nicholson, Chris Nicholson, Daniel Thurman, David Thurman and Tanner Thurman; 15 Great-Grandchildren and his Sister: Ruth Thurman Ganues.
Visitation will be held at Cagle Funeral Home on Monday, May 2nd from 12PM to 1:30PM. Memorial Services are scheduled for 2PM on Monday, May 2, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Jasper with Dr. Jimmy Lewis officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the Family requests that Memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Jasper.
