Mary Carol Prather : Obituary

Mrs. Mary Carol Prather, age 66, of Jasper, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at the North Georgia Medical Center in Ellijay, Georgia, following a period of declining health.Born February 9, 1945 in Atlanta, Georgia, Mrs. Prather had worked in the banking business and was a member of the Free Hope Baptist in Tate, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her Father, Carl McKay Chumley and her Husband, Donald Lee Prather.

Survivors include, Her Mother, Mrs. Louise Chumley, of Jasper, Ga.: Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Wanda and Jim Hunt, of Jasper, Ga.; Sarah and Paul Crowe, of Tate, Ga.; Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2011, at the Free Hope Baptist Church in Tate, Georgia and Rev. Grant Wade, Rev. Randy Weaver and Rev. Harold Cantrell will officiate, with the interment to follow in Free Home Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, all day on Thursday and until the funeral hour on Friday.
