After the parade, dozens of people made their way to Lee Newton Park to enjoy the 31st Annual Georgia Marble Festival. The day was still breezy, but the sun had begun to warm the area just a bit as attendees enjoyed the festivities. There was something for everyone, so all attendees had a great time.
There were bouncy houses, carnival rides, a climbing wall and a petting zoo amongst other children’s activities. Vendors were selling jewelry, apparel, knick knacks, arts and crafts as well as food. There was also a juried arts and crafts area, a fine arts exhibit and Business Expo.
The Festival was held on Saturday and Sunday, October 1st and 2nd.
