Mr. Edward Maurice Trudeau, age 65, of Talking Rock, Georgia, died Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Georgia, following a period of declining health.
The body remained at Roper Funeral Home where the family received friends 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2011.
Born September 21, 1946 in Troy, New York, he was the son of the late Harold Trudeau and Ruth Styles Trudeau. Mr. Trudeau was a U.S. Navy veteran, had worked as a supervisor with Diversified Industries and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include, HIS WIFE, AnnaBelle Pittman Trudeau, of Talking Rock, Ga.; DAUGHTER, Cynthia Palmer-Aragon, of Bullhead City, AR; SON, Stephen Liptrap, of Talking Rock, Ga.; SISTER, Cathy Cody, of Burnette, Tx; BROTHERS, Don Trudeau, of Troy, N.Y.; William Trudeau, of Covina, CA; and Larry Mangum, of Jasper, Ga.; 10 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren, Several Nieces, Nephews and In-Laws also survive.
Graveside Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 24, 2011, at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia, Pastor Ricky Jarrett officiated with military honors by the U.S. Navy. Pallbearers included Stephen B. Liptrap, Stephen A. Liptrap, Michael Aragon, Larry Mangum, Jon Sewell, Jimmy Hunt, & Tommy Hunt.
Arrangements were entrusted to Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
