The Tate Day Festival will be Saturday, November 5th in Tate, Georgia from 9:00 am ‘til 5:00 pm.
A downtown parade will begin at 10:00. Vendors will offer a variety of items and there will be activities for children such as face painting, bouncy houses and a petting zoo. Free rides on rail cars will be available the entire day. Tate United Methodist Church will have an open house from 10:00 through 4:00. Photo contest entries may be seen at the Tate Depot and school art contest entries will be on display at the Tate Drug Store.
Mini class reunions for Tate High School graduates will be at the Old Tate Gym along with a cake bake off, entertainment and arts and crafts; admission is free. BBQ plates may be purchased for 7.00 each. The gym events will be from 11:00 ‘til 2:00.
