Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.” Proverbs 25:19Eternal Father, you are always faithful, and I can have unwavering confidence in you. It is good to have friends that can be trusted under all circumstances. It is a privilege to try to be a friend that others can trust. Many people have come to the conclusion that they cannot trust anybody and they withdraw from everybody. Although I am filled with human frailties, help me on the basis of my relationship to you as your child, to be a person that can be trusted in all my dealings, understanding in all my relationships, and wise in every area of life.
Help me to be trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent. May I take my relationships with others seriously as a stewardship unto you in the example of Christ.
