Teresa Lynn Childers : Obituary

Ms. Teresa Lynn Childers, age 57, of Jasper, Georgia, died Monday, January 2, 2012, at her residence, following a sudden illness.

Born February 7, 1954 in Pickens County, Georgia she was preceded in death by her Mother, June Jones Childers. Teresa had last worked as a cashier at Zaxby’s Restaurant.

Survivors include, DAUGHTERS & SONS-IN-LAW, Cassie Woodward Logan (Chad), of Jasper, Ga.; Mandy Woodward Blackstock (Eric), of Calhoun, Ga.; GRANDCHILDREN, Joseph Logan, Carter Logan, Lance Blackstock, Samuel Logan and Lyndsey Blackstock; HER FATHER, Doyle Childers, of Dahlonega, Ga.; BROTHER & SISTER-IN-LAW, Greg Childers (Connie), of Dahlonega, Ga.

At her request, Ms. Childers was cremated and a Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2012, at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Corey Rich will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 12:00 Noon until the Service Hour on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to CARES or to Good Samaritan.
