Mrs. Lila Blackwell Johnson, age 86 of Pensacola, Florida and formerly of Marble Hill, Georgia, passed away at Covenant Hospice in Pensacola. Visitation will be held on January 15 from 4 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until prior to the funeral hour.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, January 16 at 11 a.m. from Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Huey Holloway officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with the Nephews serving as pallbearers.
Survivors are brothers and sisters-in-law: William C. and Frances Blackwell, Jasper, Jack and Velma Blackwell, Jasper, Joe and Darlene Blackwell, Alabama, Jerry and Brenda Blackwell, Jasper, and Roy and Gail Blackwell, Jasper; sisters and brothers-in-law: Sue Tatum, Canton, Joyce Davis, Omaha, and Patricia Blackwell, Fort Myers, Florida; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Lila was preceded in death by her husband, Roy W. Johnson and brother, James E. Blackwell.
