The Pickens High School Dragons wrestling team attended the 7AAA Area Traditional Tournament at Allatoona High School. The Dragons placed five wrestlers.Dylan Nelson finished fifth at 113lbs. JT Weyman finished third at 126lbs. John Holbert finished fifth at 160lbs. Matt Devroy finished fifth at 230lbs. Cameron Goss finished third at 285lbs.
Only the top four wrestlers from each weight class compete at the Sectionals Tournament, which decides who competes in the State Tournament; therefore Weyman and Goss will be the only Dragons hoping to catch fire at the Sectionals Tournament.
