Mr. Odell Evans, age 89 of Jasper, passed away at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital early Saturday morning, February 18, 2012.Visitation will be held Sunday from 5:30 to 10 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until the funeral hour.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, February 20, 2012 at 4 p.m. from the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Rev. Von Hinton officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law: Billy and Jaci Evans and Ben and Angie Evans, all of Jasper; daughters, Melba Evans and Linda Easterwood, both of Jasper; five grandchildren; eight great-grand-children; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Parks Evans and grandson, Ryan Evans.
The family will accept flowers or donations to Cagle Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
