Mrs. Lucile Pettigrew, age 97 of the Bethany Community, passed away at her residence on Friday afternoon, March 16, 2012. Visitation will begin on Saturday from Noon until 10 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. until prior to the funeral hour. Funeral Services are scheduled for Sunday, March 18 at 3 p.m. At Salem Baptist Church with Revs Eugene Childers, Kenneth Kirk, Bobby McFarland, and Tommy Teaque officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors are brother Mack Martin, Jasper; sister Jane Watkins, Jasper; several nieces and newphews. She was preceded in death by her husband Fayne Pettigrew, brother Earl Easterwood, and sister Victoria Teague.
The family will accept flowers or donate to Georgia Mountain Hospice.
