The Easter Bunny Hops His Way To Jasper

Children from all over Pickens County brought their easter baskets out to Lee Newton Park in hopes to collect as many of the 6,000 easter eggs hidden in the field.As children and their families waited patiently for the easter egg hunt to begin the Pickens Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy asked them if they are already participants of the program.

Unaware to many people, the Pickens Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy provides free books to children under the age of 5. Each month a child can receive an age-appropriate book mailed directly to their home at no charge.

Jasper Merchant Association sponsored the egg hunt.
