Mr. Leron Moore, Sr., age 84 of Tate, Georgia passed away on Monday, April 23 2012, at the Northside Hospital Cherokee, following a period of declining health.
Born August 12, 1927 in Pickens County, Georgia, Mr. Moore was the son of the late James Moore and Essie Stephens Moore. Mr. Moore worked in the marble industry as a quarry worker at Georgia Marble.
Survivors include: his Wife, Mary Lois Moore, of Tate, Ga.; his Son and Daughter-In-Law, Leron Moore, Jr. and Delores Moore, of Tate, Ga.; his Daughters and Sons-In-Law, Virginia and Terence Norman, of Marietta, Ga.; and Alethia and Reginald Dawkins, of Smithfield, Va.; 4 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren also survive.
The family will receive friends at Roper Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 until 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with the Dr. Reginald Dawkins officiating with the interment to follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
