Mr. Lee Buckner, age 70 of Talking Rock, passed away at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital on Thursday, May 3, 2012. Visitation will be held Friday, May 4th and continue until the funeral hour. Funeral Services are scheduled for Sunday, May 6 at 3 p.m. from the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Revs Glenn Arnold and Randy Hamrick officiating. Interment will follow at Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors are sons and daughter-in-law: Billy and Lynn Buckner, Talking Rock and Michael Buckner, Talking Rock; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Frank Tilson, Talking Rock; brothers: Hubert Buckner and Kenneth Buckner, both of Ellijay; sisters: Lois Harber, Ellijay, Bronzellar Perry, Chatsworth, Peggy Hall, Ellijay; four grandchildren; one step-grandchild; one great grand-child; three step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
