Mrs. Kim Godfrey, age 50 of Talking Rock, passed away at Atlanta Medical Center, Sunday July 29, 2012 as result of an auto accident.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 4 from 12:30 to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. until the prior to the funeral hour. Funeral Services are scheduled for Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Town Creek Baptist church with Revs Steve Chadwich and Leroy Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors are husband Larry Godfrey, Talking Rock; mother Sylvia Akins, Marble Hill; son and daughter-in-law Lane and Kristie Godfrey, Talking Rock; daughters and son-in-law: Lori Godfrey, Talking Rock, Kelli and Danny Dianellos, Ball Ground, Amie and Josh Swishcer, Jasper; brother Kenneth Boyd, Woodstock; sister Sonia Arflin, Marble Hill; three grandchildren: Dalton Dianellos, and Damon and Alex Swisher; several nieces and nephews.
