Roper Funeral Home & Crematory of Jasper announces the arrangements for Mrs. Betty Carolyn Pinyan Wigington, age 73 of Jasper who passed away Wednesday August 22, 2012 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.
The body remains at Roper Funeral Home where the family will be receiving friends after 6:30 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. Wednesday all day Thursday and Friday until the funeral hour.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday August 24, 2012 at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Allen, Rev. Grant Wade, and David Jones officiating. The interment will follow in the Cross Roads Baptist Church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sondra & Keith Jones, Sisters and brothers-in-law, Faye & Robert Evans and Martha & John McAfee, grandsons, Brock & Donavan Jones, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Ruth & Bill Stanfield, several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.H. Dub Wigington, Daughter, Donna Wigington and grandsons Conner & Dillon Jones.
