Mr. Taft Pettigrew, age 80 of Talking Rock, passed away Sunday night, September 9, 2012 at his residence.
He is survived by his Wife; Mary Lou Pettigrew of Talking Rock, Daughter & Son-in-law; Sharleen & Curtis Lovell of Talking Rock, Brother & Sister-in-law; Howard & Amy Pettigrew of Dawsonville, Sister; Mary Gibson of Jasper, Grandchildren; Amanda Fountain & Justin & Amberly Lovell, Great-Grandchildren; Abigale & Allison Fountain. Taft was preceded in death by his Son; Danny Pettigrew & 3 Brothers; Luther, Charlie & Estel Pettigrew.
The Funeral Service was held 2 pm Wednesday, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Cantrell officiating, the interment followed directly after in the Church Cemetery. The following served as pallbearers; Justin Fountain, TommyCarver, Roger Godfrey, Jerry Gibson, David Carver, Andy Gibson & L.C. Gibson.
