Roper Funeral Home & Crematory of Jasper announces the death of Mrs. Gertrude Chastain, age 91, of Jasper who passed away on Friday, October 12, 2012.
A Funeral Service was held at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home. Mrs. Chastain was cremated following the service.
She is survived by her friend, Kerry Fairbanks. Other family members also survive.
The family received friends from 10AM until the funeral hour on Tuesday, October 16, 2012.
