Zaxby’s Getting Big Response After Reopening

Things at Zaxby’s in Jasper are back to normal after a kitchen fire in May forced the restaurant to close its doors for renovation.
The restaurant officially reopened its doors on Monday, October 29th, after first having a private celebration on Sunday night for all the city’s first responders who helped out during the fire.

District Manager of Zaxby’s in Jasper Terry Payne told FYN today, “We have had a big response and a lot of support since the reopening”. Payne also told FYN that since the fire in May, the store now has around 35 employees and the area in the kitchen where the fire occured had now been completely remodeled .

Zaxby’s in Jasper is located at 132 Bill Wigington Parkway, across from Kroger and is open from Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The first Zaxby’s was opened in Statesboro, Georgia, near the Georgia Southern University campus, by Zach McLeroy and Tony Townley.
