Mr. Bruce Crawford Mays, age 62 of Dallas, Georgia died Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia following a period of declining health.
Born October 29, 1950 in Lyons, Georgia, he was the son of the late Crawford Mays and Frances Watkins Mays. Mr. Mays worked as a handyman and horse trainer at Sterling Equestrian Center in Powder Springs, Georgia.
Survivors include HIS SON, Bruce Paul Padgett of Dallas, Texas; HIS FIANCE’, Annette Hamby of Dallas, Georgia; Two grandchildren also survive.
Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the Talking Rock Cemetery, Kevin Roper will officiate with the interment to follow in Talking Rock Cemetery.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 2970 Clairmont Rd., N.E., Atlanta, Georgia 30329.
