Mr. Odies Stokes, age 69 of Jasper, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.
He is survived by two sons & daughter-in-law; Kenneth & Cathy Stokes of Ellijay, Steve Stokes of Jasper, two brothers & sister-in-law; Glen Stokes of Flint Mich., David & Rita Stokes of Jasper, one sister & brother-in-law; Estelle & Daniel Fitts of Jasper, one grandson & wife; Doug & Brittany Stokes, one great-granddaughter; Kiley Stokes and several nieces & nephews. The family will accept flowers or donations to Cagle Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
Visitation will be at Cagle Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:30pm till 10pm, Monday from 8am till 10pm and again on Tuesday from 8am until prior to the funeral hour.
Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday at 2pm from the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Revs. Harold Cantrell, Bobby Segers, & Russell Nations officiating. The interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.
