Mrs. Rena Mae Jordan, age 88 of Ball Ground, Georgia passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Heritage Healthcare in Jasper, GA.
Mrs. Jordan was born April 27, 1924 in Canton, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Lewis Franklin Richards & Lillie Mae Howard Richards. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Jordan, and grandson, Wesley Jordan.
Survivors include: Sons & Daughters –in-law, Lamar and Kay Jordan of Talking Rock, Franklin “Bug” and Patsy Jordan of Ball Ground, Joe and Karen Jordan of Ball Ground, Daughters & Sons –in-law, Wanda and Gordon Wilson of Ball Ground, Elone and Larry Ray of Nelson, Ruth and Glenn Jordan of Ball Ground. Brother & Sister-in-law James and Eunice Richards of Stockbridge, Ga. She had 9 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Bethesda Baptist Church. Mrs. Jordan will lie in state from 1-2 pm at the Church. Rev. James Rich and Rev. Greg Long will officiate with the interment to follow in the Ball Ground City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 6:00 pm on Friday, all day on Saturday and until the Funeral hour on Sunday.
