Denville Scotty Hightower : Obituary

Mr. Denville Scotty Hightower, age 49 of Jasper, Georgia, died Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Georgia following a sudden illness.

The body will remain at Roper Funeral Home where the family will receive friends after 4:00 p.m. on Friday and until the funeral hour on Saturday.

Born April 20,1964 in Tate, Georgia, Scotty was a heavy equipment operator and was a member of the Black Knob Baptist Church.

Survivors include his Wife, Teresa F. Hightower of Jasper, Ga.; his Daughter, Victoria Jaci Fountain of Jasper, Ga.; Step-sons, Ricky Thomasson and Justen Thomasson both of Rome, Ga.; his Mother, Pauline Hightower of Jasper, Ga.; and his Father, J.C. Hightower of Jasper, Ga.; Sister, Kathy Fountain of Jasper, Ga.; Niece, Kelly Roland and husband, Timothy; Nephew, Adam Burton; Great-Niece, Marley Roland; Other Relatives also survive.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 18, 2013 from the Roper Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Chris Pack, Rev. Harold Hightower and Rev. Hershel Ledford will officiate. Scotty will be cremated following the services.
