Mrs. Mamie Gilreath Bowers, age 78 of Jasper, passed away early Friday morning May 17, 2013 at her residence.
Visitation will be at Cagle Funeral Home on Saturday from 5pm until 10pm, Sunday from 8am until 10pm and again on Monday from 8am until prior to the funeral hour.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2pm Monday at Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Dawson County with Rev. Steven Chapman officiating. The interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs Bowers is survived by Sons & Daughter-in-law; E.J. Kent, Randall & Lynn Gilreath, Kenneth Gilreath, Daughters & Son-in-law; Lorene Kent Duncan, Sandra & B J Cannady, Brothers & Sister-in-law; Harvey & Wanda Buchanan, 7 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren and several Nieces & Nephews.
Mamie was preceded in death by her Husbands; Marvin Gilreath & S J Bowers & Son; Maynard Gilreath.
The Family will accept flowers but would prefer donations to Cagle Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
