Mr. John Edward Thomason age 86 of Marietta, GA died Friday, June 07, 2013 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA.
John was born on January 28, 1927 in Pickens County to the late Mr. & Mrs. Arthur Lee Thomason.
Survivors include his wife, Corene Thomason, Marietta, daughters & son-in-law, Connie Evatt, Marietta, Sylvia & Tony Pilgrim, Powder Springs, Cindy Nelson, Dallas, sisters & brothers-in-law, Sara & George O’Shields, Tate, Jean & Carl, Jr. Stancil, Jasper, Brenda & Bobby Quick, Jonesborough, grandchildren, Pamela Feltman, Johnathan Evatt, Haley Pilgrim, several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2013 at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery with interment to follow.
