Ms. Teresa Lou Fitts, age 58 of Nelson, Georgia died Friday, June 14, 2013 at the Cartersville Medical Center in Cartersville, Georgia following a period of declining health.
Born March 4, 1955 in Ellijay, Georgia, she was preceded in death by her father, James Denson Silver. Teresa had once worked with the Pickens County Board of Education and was a member of the Flat Creek Baptist Church in Gilmer County.
The body remains at Roper Funeral Home where the family will receive friends, 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday and until the funeral hour on Sunday.
Survivors include, HER MOTHER, Cleo Silver of Nelson, Ga.; SISTER & BROTHER-IN-LAW, Arlene and Joe Dean of Nelson, Ga.; SISTER-IN-LAW, Donna Fitts of Athens, Ga.; NIECES, Hollie Dean, Morgan Dean, JoAnna Swartz and Shannon Smith; NEPHEW, Jason Fitts; Several Great-Nieces and Nephews, host of Cousins and Other Relatives.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 16, 2013 from the Roper Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. James Rich and Rev. Junior McTaggart will officiate with the interment to following in Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Gilmer County.
