David Edwin Neighbours : Obituary

Mr. David Edwin Neighbours, age 60 of Waleska, Georgia formerly of Jasper, Georgia died Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born February 7, 1953 in Pickens County, he was preceded in death by his father, Dean Edwin Neighbours. Mr. Neighbours was a United States Army veteran having served in the Korean War. He had worked as a surveyor for Webb & Associate in Cumming, Georgia and attended Corinth Baptist Church. Mr. Neighbours was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include HIS WIFE OF 43 YEARS, Freda Reece Neighbours of Waleska, Ga.; SON & GIRLFRIEND, Dell Neighbours (Leslie Howells) of Blue Ridge, Ga.; DAUGHTER & HUSBAND, Allison Neighbours Rhodes (Byron) of Canton, Ga.; GRANDCHILDREN, Noah Neighbours, Tori Rhodes, Emily Rhodes, Carson Rhodes and Camden Rhodes; HIS MOTHER, Mrs. Bettie Neighbours of Jasper, Ga.; BROTHERS & SISTER-IN-LAW, Doug Neighbours of Jasper, Ga.; Wayne and Kaye Neighbours of Dawsonville, Ga.; SISTERS & BROTHERS-IN-LAW, Jan and Pressley Nidgill of Matthews, N.C.; Lucie and Jeff Barrett of Chatsworth, Ga.; SISTER-IN-LAW, Rita Reece of Waleska, Ga.; BROTHER-IN-LAW & SISTER-IN-LAW, Joe and Laurianna Reece of Jasper, Ga.; Several Nieces, Nephews and Other Relatives also survive.

At his request, Mr. Neighbours was cremated and a Memorial Services is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., Saturday, August 10, 2013 at his residence, the Rev. Huey Holloway will officiate.
