Gennett Drive Reopens With A Ribbon Cutting

Several areas in the city of Jasper were affected by the flooding that took place back in early August.While some areas are still rebuilding Gennett Drive is now open.

Mayor Weaver stated that it took a little while longer to reopen that originally anticipated the new bridge is built sturdier than before to prevent such great flooding as before. He also thanked City Of Jasper employees for their hard work in getting Gennett Drive back open.

Gennett Drive officially reopened Thursday night. A ribbon cutting happened this morning.
