Mrs. Eunice Murphy Stewart, age 94 of Cartersville and formerly of Pickens County, passed away at Maple Ridge Health Care in Cartersville on Thursday September 26, 2013.She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law; John E. & Bonnie Murphy, brother-in-law; Gene Stewart, sister-in-law; Rhoda Bell (Stewart) Carr and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years; James E. Stewart, 2 sisters; Anice E. Murphy and Bernice (Murphy) Staafford, 1 brother; E.C. Murphy Jr., all of Cartersville.
The family will recieve friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5pm till 8pm and again on Saturday from 8am until the funeral hour.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday at 2pm at Jerusalem Baptist Church with Revs. Ron Summey & Kenneth Summey officiating. The interment will follow in the church cemetery.
